I swear I've had "Quality Time" by Barbara Morgenstern on repeat for like 24 hours... It really is THAT good.

Ah, those where the days. I once got picked up for speeding while listening to "El Scorcho" on my way home from college.

It's been a while man; Life is so rad...

One day I will definitely make myself memorize that entire conversation. Then I'll be able to spontaneously launch into it at random times. Excellent.

Listening: new Department of Eagles record.

The news about the new AC record had me distracted for a bit and I spent much of the afternoon listening to their stuff...

BUT... now it's back to Barbara Morgenstern's "Quality Time." Can't... stop... playing......

currently evaluating/enjoying: high places' self-titled
after 2 listens, pretty much more of the same as from their compilation from earlier in the year although perhaps not quite as good. still, more of the same is a good thing if you liked that as much as i did; very good stuff.

on deck: new jenny lewis, based on a friend's recommendation

"The Universe is Going To Catch You" by the Antlers. From their myspace. Like this song but doubt I'd buy their album.

I listened to the whole album last year at one point, and there were two songs I really liked, that one and "In the Attic." Overall, it wasn't a great album though.

I'm From Barcelona - Who Killed Harry Houdini?

This one seems to be a bit more varied than their last one. Sounds goods so far, but I'm only partway through my first listen.
