Tim Grimm - Holding Up the WorldVery solid folk album. It's got a great anti-war song called "This Hole."

Portishead - Only You Watched the video for this last night on my friend's Chris Cunningham DVD. Great video. Much better than "Windowlicker."

Anthony Da Costa & Abbie Gardner - Bad Nights Better DaysThis Da Costa dude is amazing. Just 17 years old and he's making some of the best folk music I've heard all year. This album is great, but his solo release, Typical American Tragedy, is ever better. I posted a bit about him in the folk/Americana forum.
