Pictures Of A Changing World ~ The Photographic

Mmmm, post-rock. Wanky guitar, drum and bass combos delight with slightly limited dynamics but excellent melodies and progressions.

To continue my monopoly-

"E.V.O.L" by Aquaturbia. Killer Chilean early early '70s hard rock/pysch from a cd that collects their first two albums. Fanastic chick vocalist who's nude on the cover of the first album and crucified on the cover of the follow-up.

Right... I've looked for the naked chick. Can't find her. What's up with that?

"21st Century Girl" by Brazzaville. Groovy li'l pop thang that reminds me of a reggae infected Morphine track.

She's there amongst the other band members, though who's looking at them?

Now playing- "So Good To Me" by Van Duren. From his "lost" power pop classic, finally reissued this year.

"Cavalry" by Pela

Such a great album. This song still reminds me of Weezers "Surf Wax America" though.
