Ringing sheets of turned-up-to-11 bass and guitar noise and little else -- two tracks in and there doesn't appear to be anything else, actually. At first it's noise, and annoying noise at that, but I'm finding it more absorbing and beautiful as I go through it.

I had a stick of CareFree gum, but it didn't work. I felt pretty good while I was blowing that bubble, but as soon as the gum lost its flavor I was back to pondering my mortality.
Relistening to one of the best "fun" albums of the year, Apocalypso from The Presets. Still strikingly solid, groovy electronic music, with some nice swagger and uniqueness in the vocals.
