Motor by SebastiAn is savaging my speakers. Utterly brutal noise-dance.

Board Up The House ~ Genghis Tron

What can I say, I need some headache music tonight, apparently. I remain impressed with this album despite the fact that I don't actually, um... like it. Yet.

Weirdly, the blasting cacophony of synths, guitars and drum machines over a palette of experimental metal is growing on me.

Eeker

Don't think I'll bother getting the album if that's true! Pitchfork's review of that Jet album is still, to this day, the single most spot on review I've ever seen for anything.

Listening to:

Mind Over Money - Turin Brakes

I really love the Optimist LP. Would probably be in my top 20 of the last 10 years. Each album since has been nowhere near as good. Last two have been mediocre. Shame.
