"Inner Island" by El Perro del Mar. Hmmm, liked her last album better.

Mates of State - "The Re-Arranger"

Off of the upcoming "Re-Arrange Us". This is a fantastic song, MoS get better with every release. This is a more mature release with more developed songwriting and a slower pace. Might alienate some die hard fans...

Yeah, I feel the same way. In fact, I thought her first album was great except for the last two songs, which were just middling, too-upbeat songs if you ask me.

The debut album from Sextus. An ex-Jellyfish member goes solo and turns out a pretty nice power pop delight (sounding a whole lot like Jellyfish).

I'm curious: which takes longer, saying the title or listening to the album?

On topic, I'm currently listening to Deepest Blue's Miracle. All the electronic elitists will shun me now. Frowner

Oh. And I forgot to add what I came in here to add!!

I'm listening to a preview CD London Pop/punk band who are excellent in my opinion. I don't think it's available yet but I picked one up at a gig in Soho. it's called Live Sex On Stage and the artist Kiria. It's great. Lyrically very sharp and nice to see a girl who can hit a guitar! :-)

Thanks - got it....

It's really poppy isnt it! Especially that "little angel" track. It does remind me a little of Jellyfish though. They played in London recently I think but I didnt get to see them and didnt hear any more about them.... shame.

Found a link to Kiria but she is unfortunately without guitar in this footage. I'm a sucker......

Aye, tom Petty can't be knocked. I have been listening to Elvis Costello today. Never was mad on him but "This Year's Model" is a knockout!

Cheers for the link. Do you remember Mudhoney?

I had their album once and it was ace. Here comes sickness. I used to love that tune! I appear to have lost it in my collection.
