Crossroads ~ mind.in.a.box

Like, futuristic trance pop stuff. Heavily processed vocals relating to amnesia and other rather unconventional topics.

Pretty interesting. And more than a little entertaining.

Though Radiohead has a new album, I have been listening to Pablo Honey two times a day over the last week. I hate that I discovered this band so late in my life!

Boy, you got to carry that weight a long time!

My Downfall ~ Venetian Snares

Some incredibly... moody mood music, combining bursts of frenetic and insane electronic beats with long stretches of emotionally charged classical music.

It's intense, and I'm only on the third track. I am extremely impressed.

Ultra Payloaded ~ Satellite Party

Living up to its ridiculous name so far, nice crunchy/slick rock. The opener is a really damn good song, even if it is rather mainstream.

Sia's Colour The Small One

Nice poppy chillout music thus far, enjoyably mellow, but rich enough to keep me engaged. Pleasantly emotional.

"Lovers Never Say Goodbye" by White, Blue, Yellow & Clouds. New do-wop with some modern sounds now & then (do-woptronica?). Very catchy stuff.

"Leap Of Faith" by the Gentlekin. Jangley pop with Byrds-like harmonies. Though it's a nice first effort, next time I hope they work on the songwriting.

I'm losing my Sonic Youth virginity to Daydream Nation. Interesting noise-punk combination, to say the least.

"Transit Lounge" by Crowded House

The most "different" song on the album Time On Earth, although it's still pure pop for now people.

"Some kind of economic mumbo jumbo" by Prof. Wang

I've had it on repeat all semester. Not recommended. Imagine William Hung reading you the Wallstreet Journal.
