Okkervil River Black Sheep Boy

this album is so good. Stage Names is one of the best of the year, but Black Sheep boy is one of the best in the past ten years.

"El Dorado" by Michael Hurley. More of the same good swampy moody weird folk stuff from MH.

"In Her Smile" by Build An Ark from their new cd, Dawn. Spacey/spiritual jazz a la Pharoah Sanders.

A massive stunner, my favorite opening track in a year full of jaw-droppers.

Jesu's Lifeline EP... again. :|

This band's discography has slowly been taking over every waking moment of my life. So damn good.

I relistened to For Hero: For Fool and decided it was easily worth placing amongst the very best albums of last year. Splendid, masterful achievement.

Do Make Say Think's self titled album.

Mmmm, post-rock. Fortunately my attention span is generous enough tonight that I am enjoying this.

Virgo Blaktro & The Movie Disco ~ Felix Da Housecat

It's OK thus far. I'm not terribly impressed, but there are a few hooks here and there that have stood out nicely.
