as much as i like Clem Snide i wouldnt say its better than Bitter Honey, its one of his best work to date imho, these songs stand up good in a strip down arangement, that tells a lot.
------ Aren't there any girls out their who like good music? I need to and want to meet them. My favorite bands are Overkill River, The Nife, Songs:Ohio, and Nuetral Milk Hotel. Please let me know if your into indy music and like to go to show's and drink beer's and makeout.
Hey crazed, you're listening to some great Bird songs, but he hasn't played any of those at the concerts I've been to. No matter how loud I scream THE TITLES! (Red, White and Blue?)

Well, I've heard 9/11 of her new album, and it's certainly unexpected, but it seems pretty sweet on first listen.
PJ is right up there with Björk as my current fave female vocalist. I realize that turns some off already. (Your loss, unless you honestly listen to homogenic and Songs From the City, Songs From the Sea straight through. Those are the two albums I recommend from these two divas if you're gonna get into their power.) I do prefer this PJ album over Björk's latest.
The new PJ also reminds me a bit of the last Joanna Newsom, except the songs here average 3 minutes, and PJ's voice is gold. Anyway, that's plenty for a first impression, although I seemed to notice that the intro "The Devil" and the closer "The Mountain" are exactly in the right places.

. I appreciate the comments. Making that damn list was more exhaustive than I thought. I really have no desire to post there anymore now... Anyways, I haven't given You In Reverse enough of a listen either. "Saturday" is a superb track. You'd probably also like "Liars" off the same album.
"Gone Daddy Gone" - Violent Femmes
