Eef Barzelay - Bitter Honey

Did anybody have this very high on their list last year? I really like it. It reminds me a lot of the Mountain Goats.

Ever listen to Barzelay's band, Clem Snide? Your Favorite Music and Ghost of Fashion are both pretty stellar albums. Better than Barzelay's solo album for sure.

And oops, I edited your post by accident RL. Red Face

I never have, but I was planning on asking you guys which is the best place to start with that band. I do remember pE having Clem Snide's last album ranked high on one of his year-end lists. It's a wonder I didn't check them out then. Usually if someone ranks an alt-country band high I give it a try.

I would say Your Favorite Music, followed closely by The Ghost of Fashion. The latter contains their biggest "hit", "Moment in the Sun", which was used as the theme song to the television show, Ed, during the second season.
