I post this in the hope that some indie-kid doesn't make the same mistake as I did and dismiss the Grateful Dead for most of his/her life. I didn't give them a chance until I was in my mid 30s. Big mistake. From '67 to '70, they put together a string of six albums that rivals anyone in Rock.
