"Black Heart" by Holly Golightly & the Brokeoffs from You Can't Buy A Gun When You're Crying. Holly's latest is more miss than hit on this first spin of her latest album. But I do like the song now playing.
Listening to online samples from a James Brown tribute cd called Good God! Heavy Funk Covers Of James Brown From All Over The World 1968-1974. Haven't heard of these artists before. Very nice that two songs from Hell were included and those are two very worthy tribute songs- "Papa Don't Take No Mess" and "My Thang". Still deciding whether I'll pick up a copy.
"Tone Burst" - Stereolab from Transient Random-Noise Bursts with Announcements. Just picked this up. I've had Emperor Tomato Ketchup for years and have always intended on getting more from them, so I'm starting here. Pretty great stuff.
