That song has totally been doing it for me lately too. Did you pick up the new acoustic Massey Hall set? It's a good one too, though considerably quieter.

Currently listening to the new Ted Leo. Is it just me, or is there a hint of the Kinks' "Yes Sir, No Sir" on the third song, "Army Bound?"

I don't have Massey Hall yet. I've been listening to Fillmore East. I'll need to get it.

I've been listening to Ted Leo quite a bit, but I don't know that Kinks song.

The song I'm enjoying the most on "Living" at the moment is "Bottle Of Buckie". I can't imagine what made him want to write a song about one of the foulest tasting drinks known to man. Then again, my mate drinks it through choice when we're in the pub, so who knows!

Ever heard the Pixies cover on "The Bridge: A Tribute to Neil Young"? It's actually pretty cool.

I hadn't, but now thanks to the wonder of the interweb, I have! And you're right. Smiler

What's the rest of the album like? Looks pretty interesting. Worth seeking out?

It's been a while since I listened to the whole thing, but I would say that it is both inconsistent and eclectic. Worth seeking out for curiosity's sake if you are interested in hearing some unique interpretations of Neil Young's work. Nick Cave does a pretty good job on "Helpless", and I also like the punked-up, off kilter version of "Captain Kennedy" by Nikki Sudden. I know the Flaming Lips do a song, but honestly I cannot recall it.
