"Take Me Home" by Sister Soul on some free comp I picked up. More of a bluesy jam song than soul.

"How to Be So Real" by Jim Noir from his Tower of Love album. Excellent song with Beach Boys-like harmony. Realling enjoying this album.

Here's Your Future- The Thermals: I was a bit skeptical about the Anti-religious themes but I can't deny the fact that it's so damn catchy... It's the first track I've ever heard by this band and I think I'm about to buy that new record!

Cha Cha Cha - The Little Ones.

Super catchy power pop band that was featured on allmusic.com a couple of weeks ago. Like the Shins with heavier drums.

I can't stress enough how great that record is. Best surprise of 2006 for sure.
