So, I have a question for all of you last.fm users out there: What happens when you play leaked tracks? I haven't downloaded last.fm because I'm concerned about the tracking of leaked songs (since it could likely be traced to a persons' IP), but from what I can tell, there's no record on there of any albums that I know have leaked. (Ex. I looked up Skeletal Lamping, and it appears as though no one has listened to it.) So what happens? Do they just kind of ignore the fact that you listened to it? Or is it just something only you can see?

Nothing happens. What you listen to isn't tracked by anyone, as far as I know. Leaked albums aren't added to the database, and don't show up in the top albums section till release, but masses start listening to them the day they leak - check the top tracks section, songs from Skeletal Lamping are all over it.

You can set it so that only you can see what you've been listening to, but yeah as I said, don't think there's anything to worry about.
