You do realise that this discussion is limited because if you have an iPod that can hold more information than someone else (ex: 20 gig versus 30 gig) that it automatically gives one person an advantage statwise over another.

Well my 4 Gig has:
364 Songs Capacity: 3.7 gigs available: 1.9 gigs Next time I go to Itunes I will tell you how many days, I think it is a little over one though. I didn't need a gigantic Ipod, so I just got the 4 gig, more than enough music to work out with and more capacity than shuffles... This message has been edited. Last edited by: St. Mike, |

I don't even have an iPod. I just use iTunes to organize my music, burn CD's if needed, and play music through my 'puter.

Regardless of whether you're using iTunes or an iPod a computer only has so much space on a hard drive as well. Whatever.....

I am actually building a pc with two 500 gig hard drives, I doubt I will ever have the ability to run out of space...if I do, then I'll add another hard drive.

13:12:11:29 29.53GB It's full. They advertise the 30 gig "can hold up to 10,000 songs" which is garbage if you enjoy half-decent sound quality. I generally do 192kb. |

On my Creative Zen Nomad 30 GB I have:
25045 MB full 3550 MB open 6694 tracks 530 albums I have 8.8 GB on my laptop's hard drive loaded with music, as well. And I know I've got another 20GB of stuff on my portable backup drive. And that's not even close to scratching the surface of my CD library, which is well over 5000 discs. |

12:23:15:40 total time 19.48 GB My 30 gig iPod was stolen a few weeks ago, so that's just what I have on itunes on my laptop. |
