Freud would have a field day dissecting the love most guys have for Led Zep, Aerosmith, the Rolling Stones and others

Speaking for myself, I never wanted to f*** Plant, Jagger et al.
I wanted to be them, so I too cld get tall gorgeous Brazilian models ha ha Wink

Oh, could I feel as I have felt, or be what I have been,
Or weep as I could once have wept, o'er many a vanished scene;
As springs in deserts found seem sweet, all brackish though they be,
So, midst the withered waste of life, those tears would flow to me.

Led Zeppelin wrote lyrics based on the The Lord of The Rings novels. That's pretty nerdy. They lose manly man points for that.

To me it's a no brainer (and not only becuase it has Man in the title).

Mannish Boy by Muddy Waters

Most everyone knows the riff (Da-Dana-Da-dant,Da-dana-da-dant). Maybe not the best way to describe the riff, but certainly a very manly song. Anyone agree?

For some reason I keep coming back to "Goin' Out West" by Tom Waits.

I don't even like this album, but the manliest song ever has to be.....

Ready to Die - by Andrew WK

My basic objection to religion is not that it isn't true; I like plenty of things that aren't true. It's that religion grants its adherents malign, intoxicating and morally corrosive sensations. -Philip Pullman

Pantera - Walk

I know this is a prety indie crowd but, Metal is really under-represented in this thread.

I think you have to start a new thread for the least manly song ever.

I LOVED Pantera when I was in high school. I sort of lost interest when ...Trendkill came out, but I still give 'em a listen every now and then.

Holy lord was Reinventing The Steel bad. A few of my good friends in high school were really into Vulgar Display of Power, and they were crushed when Steel came out.

I've never even heard it. ...Southern Trendkill came out right before I graduated high school. I would consider Vulgar their most complete work, but the first three albums were all pretty good.

That's why there's an AC/DC quote above the song title.

"Get It On", "No Pussy Blues" & "Love Bomb" by Grinderman
