In the history of mankind, the 1980s were the worst for music.

Now that is sacrilege.

80s pop music was just as bad as any other decade but they provided the foundation for the majority of what most of us listen to today (indie and pop)... and a lot of it was just damn good music.

It doesn't take great talent to make great music. Conversely, great talent sometimes makes really shitty music.

I think pop punk is overlooked by most music afficianados, but I personally like more than a little of it.

Hudson brings the board some much-needed sass, and I like having him around.

Also, "Wincing the Night Away" is clearly the Shins' best album. I feel sorry for them right now, they've built their reputation as a clean-as-a-whistle pop band and then their keyboard player has to go and beat on his woman.

Aren't there any girls out their who like good music? I need to and want to meet them. My favorite bands are Overkill River, The Nife, Songs:Ohio, and Nuetral Milk Hotel. Please let me know if your into indy music and like to go to show's and drink beer's and makeout.

I just wish the sass was more... valid.

It's tough to get away with dismissing a large genre (followed by dismissing an entire decade) without coming off as a troll and as ignorant.

No fun.
