Electric Version - New Pornographers

Though, I also go to The End Of Medicine, and other tracks on that album and Mass Romantic.

Why Part 2 - Collective Soul
Seen The Light - Supergrass

These two come to mind as they recently raised my spirits when I heard them.

Definitely, my pop go-to song lately is "Where Have all the Rude Boys Gone?" Ted Leo & the Pharmacists. The last half of that song is pop heaven.

"Come On Let's Go" - Broadcast

I am on the biggest Broadcast kick of my life right now. I haven't listened to much else for days now.

"Blue Honey", "Skip Ghetto" and "From the Day That You were Born" from Pop Levi. Very catchy pop songs for this and any moment.

Man alive, I love these tunes

Weird. I'm currently listening to the The Plimsouls . . .Plus album. To think that Paul Collins and Peter Case were together in the Nerves with a guy (Jack Lee) who might have been a better songwriter-- it's just insane.

As for the go-to pop song of the moment, I have absolutely worn out Midlake's "Roscoe" over the last six months. A close second would be Film School's "Like You Know."

And for the go-to pop song of all-time . . . hmmm . . . probably Mission of Burma's "Academy Fight Song."

What if Obama gets into White House and turns out to be some crazy muslim terrorist? What do we do then? We'll be pretty screwed. It could happen." -- by some fucking nutjob
