Well, here's how I did. 13 in the Top 50 4 from 51 to 100 6 from 101 to 150 4 from 151 to 200
I only have one album from the worst 100, and I firmly do not believe it belongs there. The Yeah Yeah Yeah's Machine EP. First, it's a 3 song ep, second, the rating was based off of 4 reviews!
There were also two albums on the Best 200 list that I plan on picking up soon, likely this weekend.
"If it were beneficial, their father would produce children already circumcised from their mother. Rather, the true circumcision in spirit has become profitable in every respect." -Jesus, from the Gospel Of Thomas
I own 33 of the best 200 and only 1 of the worst, this being The Raven - Lou Reed. Careful programming of the Cd player makes this album actually quite reasonable.

I'm curious how many of them everyone owns...
I own 9 of the 100 worst, and like them all.
I own 40 of the 200 best, broken down this way:
1-50: 10 51-100: 12 101-150: 7 151-200: 11
How 'bout you guys?
For the record, the "worst" records that I own are mostly Britpop records:
Paul Weller (the covers record), Gay Dad, Johnny Marr & The Healers, Robbie Williams, Starsailor, James (the live record), and Oasis. The non-Britpop records were the new Cake (which isn't so hot) and the recent Liz Phair.
Cake - Pressure Chief (great album, just a bad cross section) Eve 6 - Horrorscope Prodigy - Always Outnumbered Never Outgunned (sadly, deserves to be there) Prince - The Rainbow Children
That's not to say I don't own any stinkers. There was a four-year period when I bought anything at all connected to industrial music. It's alleged a hurricane wiped them all out in 1999...the only losses I mourn are Throbbing Gristle, Einstürzende Neubauten and Dead Voices on Air.
I only come in with one from the 100 worst list, Paul Weller's Studio 150, which isn't nearly so bad as all that. I came very close to The Mooney Suzuki's Alive & Amplified and also don't think it's anywhere near as bad as all that.
As far as the best goes, I have 28, broken down:
1-50: 9 51-100: 5 101-150: 6 151-200: 8
The fact that Brian Wilson managed to tie for both highest and lowest Metacritic rating makes me strangely happy. Nobody can accuse of him of trying to cater to the public or the critics.
i agree with all the worst ranked. i can proudly say i only own one and thats enya's "a day without rain". and i would completly concur that its a supremly subpar work from her, you can practically hear her coasting thru the whole thing, most likely the reason it got such bad reviews, but the fact that it took her 5 years to do that makes it even worse - in reference too so called choas's comment about vanessa carlton, she is a talented performer but when i heard white houses i was extremely disapointed she can do much better and has. and you cant really compare usher to vanessa. usher is pretty good at what he does most of the time at least
