There's always one -or a couple- album from a known band, that shouldn't have seen the daylight... Deceived fans, poor critics...
For example: St-Anger from Metallica
In Through the Out Door from Led Zep
or the last two decades of the Rolling Stones

A lot of the posthumourous Jeff Buckley records, i haven't heard most of them but just a cash cow for a record company i guess.

The Presidents of the USA last two albums. They would have better off stayed as a hip band in the mid-90s that retired gracefully when they had some respect left.
