Since this site has an abundance of musically minded people I thought I find out what album or albums you think are the best to put on while doing the horizontal mambo.

thanks,

Depending on your mood and age, I'd go for:
Rubber Soul by the Beatles
Pure Mania by the Vibrators
Labour of Lust by Nick Lowe
Repeat When Necessary by Dave Edmunds
69 Love Songs by the Magnetic Fields
The Convincer by Nick Lowe
Others, but I'll wait until others say what...

Nice! A little dark though don't you think?

I like put on Janet Jackson's Janet or The Velvet Rope or Alicia Keys Songs in A Minor. Sometimes a little of R. Kelly's Chocolate Factory. R&B shit's the best to listen to I think.

Another Massive Attack in the bedroom fan. I should try that album and see how it goes over. My lady'll probably be like "What the hell is this?!?"

Zero 7 and Air I've listened too. Too cooled out and not sultry enough we thought. Although Talisman is a super sexy track. Nice.

What the hell guys? A post about baby making music and no one has mentioned Marvin Gaye yet? Am I just getting old? Maybe it's just too obvious.

Also: Any Al Green, Barry White and most Isaac Hayes, as well as the "Pornosonic" CD, a collection of 1970s porno music.

I third Massive Attack - Mezzanine.
Also check out:

Tricky - Maxinquay
Lovage - Songs to make love to your old lady by
The Beach soundtrack (though that requires a skip or two)

Damn you!!!! I was gonna mentioned "Maxinquaye"!!!

But I agree with Massive Attack, especially if what you're looking for is something intense and vaguely perverse. But not if you want laughing and lots of gymnastics.

How about:

"1999" -- Prince
"Second Toughest in the Infants" -- Underworld
"Come Down" -- Dandy Warhols

The problem with Mezzanine that always comes up when this has been discussed among people I've been talking to is "Man Next Door." The voice just seems like it would be a mood-killer. Loveless, on the other hand...

Marvin Gaye - 'Let's Get It On' and 'I Want You', can't beat them.

Being as geeky as I am, I forgot earlier to include the best answer. Cool Ladies' Love Oracle by Grant-Lee Phillips.

I totally cannot imagine maintaing an erection while most of Bjork's music played. She's a genius, but when I hear her music I think of snow-encrusted pixie elves floating through cartoon landscapes, which is not imagery conducive to most forms of ****ing.

I checked out that massive attack album...good pick. I like the flow.

Personally, I like portishead, morcheeba, and kid a. I think boards of canada isn't too bad for the horizontal mambo too.
