I figgured most of you guys here would have decent headphones. Im looking for a new set since my old ones crapped out on me. Im looking to spend no more than 40 bucks, but id like em to sound decent and be comfortable. I like then to be the larger kind that are padded and fit over your whole ear. Im mostly gonna be using them at my computer so I dont mind how silly they look and I already have a good pair of earbuds.
If I could get a few honest opinions, Id be greatful.
Also, can anyone confirm or deny the existence of earbud/earplugs? What I mean is: Earplugs (for eliminating external sound) that have speakers on the inside (making them a sort of headphones). Wireless, preferably. I work at a loud place and would like to listen to music inconspicuously while blocking out the racket in that environment. Thanks in advance.
Do you mean something like this? Its an earbud that also goes inside your ear. This is the set I have and they are extremely good. I didnt pay 60 bucks for em though. I bought a walkman mp3 player and it came with them.
No. Not exactly. I mean something specifically designed to eliminate outside noise. Take earplugs for example. Just plain old, noise-stopping earplugs for on a loud construction site or something. Something like that.. except with speakers in them. So they double as headphones. See what I mean?
Yeah, I see what youre saying. The ones I posted block out noise pretty well, but if such a thing exists, earplug headphones would be better suited for the job.
