"Jimi Hendrix (1973). I went to see this 5 days in a row when it first came out. Worth it just to see Jimi playing 12-string and for the Little Richard interview segments.

Chicago Blues (Rhapsody Films, 1972), for its gritty atmosphere, amazing club performances by Muddy Waters, Buddy Guy, Junior Wells, J.B. Hutto - very interesting commentary particularly by Waters, Willie Dixon, Hutto, and (an occasionally annoying!) Dick Gregory - the unknown Floyd Jones telling the (rather touching, I think) story of how he composed his song "Stockyard Blues". The film is short at only 50 mins., but somehow that seems just right.
