I like Kelly Clarkson, but don't consider her a guilty pleasure.
Carrie Underwood's album, though not as good as Kelly's Breakaway, is actually better than I expected. Guess she's a guilty pleasure.
There is lot of pop/rock that I have no problem being proud liking. The only reason I listed Brie Larson as a guilty pleasure is because she's only 15 and many of the lyrics (appropriately) reflect that.
Journey. Specifically Infinity era Journey. Yes, I've been made fun of and scoffed at for this but I love me some Journey. Steve Perry is one of the consumate vocalists of the 70s with a technical prowess that doesn't sacrifice emotional attachment. And Neil Schon, who cut his teeth in an earlier version of Santana, is a melodic, warm-sounding guitarist. I find the songs off Infinity to be anthemic, celebratory, and powerful good arena rock fun.

There are definitely some karaoke classics by Journey in my library!
There's this 70's song my older sister exposed me to. It's called "Never Let Her Slip Away" by an artist called Andrew Gold. Does anyone know this song?
It's ultra guilty pleasure. I think the song is so teenybopperish but I love it. I would not even dare play that song if any of my buds are over.
Phil Collins has always been one for me, though I can't defend his last couple of albums. I love Genesis though with him and also with Peter Gabriel. I'll even admit (gasp!) that they are my all-time favorite band. Critics are always harsh towards the later albums, especially Invisible Touch, but I love all of them. They don't get enough credit for being able to reinvent themselves time and time again, while becoming more and more popular (despite getting older... and balder in Phil's case).
I'd also argue that 90% or more of the population would secretly admit to liking something by Journey.
Crowded House. One of my all-time favorite bands, but I'm embarassed to play them for most people. They are utterly legitimate, but I'm not totally impervious to their "uncool" status among the hip.
