I'll go with 15+ minutes. Too many to list at 10+.
Allman Bros. - "Mountain Jam" 33:58 GYBE! - "Sleep" 23:19 Grateful Dead - "Dark Star" from Live Dead 23:07 Allman Bros. - "Whipping Post" 22:44 GYBE! - "Static" 22:36 GYBE! - "Storm" 22:34 Sonic Youth - "Diamond Sea" 19:36 Allman Bros. - "You Don't Love me" 19:24 GYBE! - "Antennas to Heavan" 18:57 GYBE! - "East Hastings" 17:58 Yo La Tengo - "Night Falls on Hoboken" 17:42 Velvet Underground - "Sister Ray" 17:24 Bob Dylan - "Highlands" 16:31 Mogwai - "Mogwai Fear Satan" 16:17 Grateful Dead - "Turn on your love light" 15:08 Wilco - "Less than you think" 15:04
I really like all of these songs, with the exception of the Wilco tune, which actually is a nice 3 minute song with a bunch of shitty static tagged on the end for no reason.
Dylan's "Highlands" really made one of my problem students take notice. He'd never even heard of Dylan, but he thought that song was a rap masterpiece. Thank God.

That would take months to figure out. Even selecting my favorite songs at 10+ minutes would be difficult. Though I imagine if I were to pick the favorites, they would be among my jazz, prog and Afro-funk albums. Most of Fela Kuti's songs were well over 10 minutes.

Miles Davis Seven Steps to Heaven, Bitches Brew, E.S.P.- really almost anything from MD. Any John Coltrane- especially Blue Train, Impressions and -a forgotten gem perhaps- Interstellar Space. Other favorites include Thelonious Monk, Sonny Rollins, Sun Ra, Art Blakey, Louis Armstrong and Billie Holiday (picked up two incredibly excellent box sets of Lady Day recordings recently). I also love New Orleans jazz, big band music, swing, and those soul/jazz songs with social/political lyrics- can't get enought of that. Guess I'm still in the beginner's phase when it comes to exploring jazz, discovering exactly what styles I like and how to find the right albums when I'm ready to move on to something different. But that's what makes music discovery the most fun!
Well that definetely is a good list of albums and artists. It seems like you are more than just at the "beginner's phase" of Jazz and are actually well on your way to being a good listener of Jazz--although you are probably already there. That's great though, and let me know if you ever need any help looking for Jazz or need some recommendations.
By the way, I think Billie Holiday is arguably the best female vocalist of all time, I love her way more than Ella Fitzgerald. I think that "Strange Fruit" is just one amazingly brilliant song.
