"Keep it like secret" is my favorite built to spill album.

American Water is a very good album. Better than anything else I've heard from the Silver Jews. Their new album is coming out in a couple months and is one of the few albums this year that I think has a chance to be really good.

The Castanets record was unimpressive. The Low is pretty good, but not great. Archer Prewitt's record is great, and probably better than either of the three previous records, although Three is a damn fine record, as well.

"Roomsound" by Califone is as good as "Quicksand/Cradlesnakes" (though both are excellent).

I've only heard a few songs from Hood, but I thought they sounded a little like Four Tet, only not nearly as good. "Rounds" and "Pause" are Four Tet's best.

I listened to "The Glow Pt. 2" by the Microphones, and didn't like it at all, but if you like that peculiar, lo-fi artist, check out "Red Apple Falls" or "Dongs of Sevotion" by Smog.
