There should definitely be an avant garde forum, but I'm not sure what it's for.
It appears to be full of posts by people, saying things like:

Alfred Clock and the power-mice. Their brand of psycho infused industrial banana music is much better than the relatively communist strains of
Virtual Hockey Squadron. It sounds sort of like cake, with a mixture of jealousy and several deformed badgers gargling with garden sheds. Thank you Susan, the cheese fingers will be moist by 4 o'clock tomorrow morning. Wibble etc'
I should add that I love avant garde music, including works by John Zorn, Stockhausen, Frank Zappa and various bits of Mike Patton. That's why I think the subject should stay open for discussion but I have to admit, I rarely know what anyone is talking about over there.
It would appear that I'm just not keeping up with modern trends these days! Either that or the whole thing is a post-modern satirical joke and none of those artists actually exist.
