Alright, so this is a thread for those songs that are great for the headphones, in particular. And maybe only decent, or good, on speakers.

So use the best songs list for those songs which are good on both stereo and headphones. This is more for those songs which really take off when listening on headphones.

EDIT: Lets make this a thread for best songs, and/or albums on the headphones.

The chorus of "My Love" by the Bird and the Bee is pretty wonderful.

Also, most anything on Merriweather Post Pavilion.

Maybe it's only good headphone music because you (not you as in you, but you as in the general people of the world) have crappy speakers.

Animal Collective "Bluish"

that's a good one. Most of the album sounds great on headphones.

Yeah, I really like this album and it only gets better on headphones, especially the ambient stuff.

Another great headphones album is the new one by Gui Boratto. The guy's got a great ear for melody and the music is impressively mixed.

The new Horrors sounds like it was created for headphones.
Much like Loveless does.

And It's a brilliant, brilliant record.

Danger Mouse and Sparklehorse Presents...

really nice song to song, but especially the David Lynch track that completes the listen.
The Flaming Lips track 'Revenge' is great too...
