The new movie out called "Criminal" is a remake of the Argentine film "Nine Queens". If you get a chance, pick up this little film and give it a watch. It's not a particularly great movie, or even that well made. But if you enjoy "the con" and movies where nothing is as it seems, then you will have fun with Nine Queens. Of course, the con has been done in Hollywood many times, so nothing is that original anymore, but it is still worth seeing. I am looking forward to seeing Criminal.

Yea, well you see this one? This was my dream, my wish....and it didn't come true. So I'm taking it back, I'm taking them all back.

I thought Nine Queens was pretty damn good...enough to keep you guessing throughout. I also heard Criminal is pretty crappy, but I'm curious to check it out.

I agree that NINE QUEENS is a terrific little caper film in the vein of David Mamet's HOUSE OF GAMES. CRIMINAL was mediocre.

I am from Argentina, and Nine Queens was considered a good film, yet not the best in tha last decade or so. Anyway, its director, Fbian Bielinsky, released his second movie which is far better. Its title is EL AURA, and, although it is in the same genre, it is quite different from NQs.
