saw the trailer recently and it looks ok, I still can't tell if Ratner ruined it or not. anyone have any ideas if it's going to be good? I thought the thing about the second that was so good is that it stayed pretty close to a narrow story from the comics, this one looks like its a mashup of a bunch of different plots and that can be very dangerous, esp. with a bruckheimer-like director on board demanding an explosion every other scene. Conversely, it'd be a pretty hard formula to screw up, considering how cool the source material is.

It looks entertaining enough to me. I enjoyed the first two and I'll probably like this one. It looks like they're bringing in a lot more X-people, which excites me. And it also looks a little darker than the first two. Hopefully they keep it short like the first two. That's one of the things I liked most, both movies really seemed to move along.

I care alot about this but hate Ratner's involvement. I hated Red Dragon and After the Sunset, igonored the Family Man and Rush hour 2, and tolerated Rush Hour. I am not hopeful about X3 because of his direction but am anxious because I like the content. I want to be satisfied but expect to be disappointed.
