This is a discussion for your favorite art film or films. It can be whatever film you would define as art. For the term could be used differently for many people.

i just saw dogville, and though it was a bit jarring at first, about halfway through the film, i'd totally gotten used to it and was engrossed in the story. great flick. von trier strikes again!

In The Mood For Love (Made in Hongkong)
The Return (Made in Russia)

Naqoyqatsi was lousy. Koyaanisqatsi was beautiful.

I would have to consider many foreign films that I have seen, art films as well. I have not seen many, but I found Hero to be astoundingly beautiful and in spirited away the animation was amazing, puting every little detail of every part of the scene.
