It is HILARIOUS. It has so many great quotables as well. I was even more impressed when I found out that all the actors are normal people and just do an incredible job of acting. I thought for sure that the director just happened upon this cooky kid. But no. It is great.
It was really funny. So simple yet hilarious. The guy who played Napoleon is so perfect.
"Hey Napoleon, what are you drawing? "Its a Liger, its basically my favorite animal" Its pretty much a mix between a lion and a tiger. Except for its magical abilities."

Napoleon Dynamite was awesome. The first time I saw it was in social studies class, because my teacher loved it and was always saying "my lips hurt real bad" and calling students "fat lards" (like how Napoleon calls the llama a fat lard). Anyway, I thought it was great. My favorite part is when this kid is getting harassed by a bully and Napoleon goes up to him and says "Pedro offers you his protection." Then outside the school, the bully is trying to take the kid's bike, and Pedro's cousins pull up in their pimpmobile and simply shake their heads at the bully and he runs away with his tail between his legs. Priceless!
