I honestly can't remember where I found this movie but I watched it with my roommate and was pleasantly surprised at its quality.

The monster was unique and appeared very intelligent. At the end, the special effects got a little wonky, but eh.

Anyone else seen it?

No, I haven't seen it... but I REALLY REALLY want to. There are absolutely no theaters playing it around me!! It's unbelievable. Do you think it's worth going a distance for.. because I've basically seen every movie I've wanted to see this year.

Other than the Host Frowner

Lots of theaters didn't carry it, my roommate got it on DVD and we watched it then. It's no block buster amazing movie but it's enjoyable every time I watch it.

I would just look online and see if Netflix has it to rent or if someone has it cheap to buy. You might not watch it all the time, but I still watch it now again just for kicks.

I saw it in film class and then I purchased it,its a great movie and doesn't try to be more than it is,its an enjoyable dark comedy monster movie.
I was skeptical at first as i'm wary of CGI nowadays because its rushed alot, but the mix of models/prosthetics and cgi was really well done.

It was also fresh for breaking the conventional rule of showing the monster in broad daylight within the first ten minutes.
