I actually found the A for Spider-Man 2 legit, but thought Fahrenheit 9/11 did not deserve nearly so high a rating. There is something inherently wrong with aestheticizing 9/11 to support a contemptuous political agenda against an administration. Juxtaposing screams from the tragedy with a black screen? It's disturbing, sure. But even more so that Moore went to such shocking lengths to make his point. It is a very personal movie, which, taken alone, is worth admiring. I just felt it was poorly executed - and without a heart for the tragedy it surrounded. The 9/11 dedication is about as hilariously superficial as a similar one preceding the Paris Hilton sex video. And again, I know Spider-Man 2 is a completey different movie, but as a cuperhero flick, I felt it to be nearly flawless. To each their own, I guess.

agreed. spider 2 blew. so boring. i was dying for them to shut-up and fight, flip, swing around the city . . . damn near anything, just kill the chatter. the added human dimension was lifted from a daytime soap. the emoting made the whole film a snoozefest. peter's emotional dithering is laborious and pathetic. when the action finally did manage to rev up towards the end, i was too disconnected from the story to care. moore is just lame. a zero star, quadruple f-rating is still complementary for the turd peddler. but thats just me.

Obviously, the facts supplied by Fahrenheit can't be trusted but are semi-fun to watch ( I completely disagree with the movie) but if I had to judge this movie by DOCUMENTARY standards contrary to entertainment standards, I'd grade it low for not clearing new ground, low brow humor, and pathetic experiments to prove his theories. Spiderman 2 succesfully wove a crazy love story into its comic book playfulness. Certainly not everyones movie, but for its group, it deserves its "A". Look, SLACKER, if you are going to try to make yourself a known member, try a thought-out statement. Make your first ones a bit longer Garmonbozia. 80% depression and 20% action is a TERRIBLE statistic, and I know you pulled that out of your ass. I, sitting here now, am able to say that at least 50% was action (and know it was more.) Action isn't a filling solution in place of good story and good drama. You are clearly...Garmonbozia...
