The review that JR "Plot Spoiler" Jones wrote for District 9 wasn't for MetaCritic specifically, so give partial blame to MC for using the portion of his review that contains spoilers in it. But, the vast majority of the blame lies squarely with Jones for including spoilers of the biggest plot twist in his review in the first place. Either Jones is completely and unforgivably ignorant about review etiquette...or simply callous to those who would care about spoilers because he doesn't consider this film on par with his brand of high brow "cinematic art". If Jones had any journalistic merit this review would be retracted, modified and redistributed, and an apology would be issued....in other words, it will stay the way it is.

But again, shame on MC also for including the excerpt with the major spoiler (and NO warning!).
