I myself am a general admirer of A.O. Scott's writing -- it's always lucid, precise, and, as a bonus, he's a Spielberg fan!

Was it A.O or Elvis Mitchell who recently left the NY Times because the other one became lead critic?? I can't remember.

That would be Elvis who has left the building. But I think it was more complicated than that--although I don't quite remember the details, so I'll spare you my fuzzy memory.

I never did like Elvis. I think it was he, who gave the masterpiece that is "Hulk" that awful review. What was the criticism he gave---too much plot!!??!!

I actually really liked Hulk too. I thought the way it was shot into a "comic book"-like form was ingenious. Word up to the Hulk.

Yes! Someone finally agrees with me!!! What was it about "Hulk" that people disliked so?

I think a bunch of people were pissed off because the CGI Hulk didn't look realistic enough, but I didn't have any complaints. His movements were ultra-smooth and his face didn't really bother me that much.

However, I can relate with the hatred for the ending. I mean, seriously, what the hell was that? There was this huge explosion of "stuff" and Banner's dad suddenly...nevermind, I seriously have no idea what happened. That's my biggest and perhaps only problem with the movie.

Totally agree! The end fight seen was clouded by tons of rain and then it went underwater or something and then all of a sudden he was in Cuba or someplace like that....can someone say what the f**k?
