Even though it's now part of the evil empire (Yahoo)(kidding), what was once known as Upcomingmvoies.com is now "Greg's Previews" and is an amazing source for movies that haven't come out yet. But because it's on Yahoo, I'm sure you already know of it.

I do ! Very much !!
I was on the fence about booking Facing Windows (reviews are mixed), but just reading your review made me feel good. Can't wait to see it now.

The two primary sites I use are Metacritic (for the review scores) and IMDB, for just about everything else.
Those two sites account for at least 90% of my movie activity on the web. I also like to check out film grosses, and for that, I go to two sites: I like to look at the Box Office section under Movies on Yahoo, and for all other box office gross information, you have to check out www.boxofficemojo.com

well I don't think the powers that be would like you guys mentioning Rottentomatoes as a good site, since I would assume they're this sites top competitor. Even so it really ain't all that great. The forums are infested with immature kids and trolls and it's really not worth anyones time, who serious about movies. It's just becoming a joke.
Other than IMDB of course, the best site out there I think is Tim Dirk's site. www.filmsite.org which is a true labor of love. Check it out.
Tim Dirk's site is a great resource, but some of the best film criticism you'll find exclusively on the web you'll find on places like Slant Magazine and Film Freak Central, but you Village Voice fans probably knew that already (right?). It's surprising to me that Metacritic doesn't link to these sites, especially Slant, which is as popular if not more so than the undeniably resourseful Film Threat (which, to be frank, doesn't seem to actually have a copy editor working on its staff) and boasts some Voice contributors on its staff. Walter Chaw and Ed Gonzalez are the equals of David Edelstein in terms of wit and insight, and they surely dance circles around the likes of Berardinelli. Then again, we should all be thankful this site doesn't link to Harry Knowles.
Two genre film sites I like- kfccinema.com and monstersatplay.com. MonstersAtPlay reviews mostly horror films (well-known and obscure movies) & some anime. Kfc (kung fu cult) has reviews & columns for Asian films. I'm always on the look-out for up-to-date reviews of Asian films, primarily horror/psych-thriller and comedies.

musicOMH.com's films section tends to cover things in depth - it's geared to UK release dates though so some of it might look a bit old to Stateside readers...
I don't know how many of you know about this, but I just found out about it through rogerebert.com, there is a site where you can view EVERY movie review they've done on 'Siskel & Ebert & Roeper'! Just checkout atthemoviestv.com! Right there, on the frontpage, you can click on a review of a certain movie that involves CAVEMEN FLYING HARRIER JETS, & see Ebert & Roeper give it the worst possible review, EVER! I couldn't stop laughing!
"I can't live the buttoned down life like all of you! I want it all: the terrifying lows, the dizzying highs, the creamy middles! Sure, I might offend a few of the blue-noses with my cocky stride and musky odor - oh, I'll never be the darling of the so-called 'City Fathers' who cluck their tongues, stroke their beards, and talk about what's to be done with this Monkey_Boy?!"

IMDb is still the best movie website out there as far as comprehensive info goes. But I do like the Ebert site as well. __________________________ Baby Shower Tea Party Movie Info
