Wow...even allowing for personal taste that's pretty nuts. By any reasonable standard she is not "ugly." Maybe not *attractive* to you, but ask 500 people if they think she's ugly, probably 497 would say "no way."
I think there was a photo of her on the Table of Contents page of last month's Paste where she looked the best I've ever seen her, but I couldn't find it on the Net.

If my mom looked like Feist, as joji claims, I'd probably have pretty high standards too. And a serious Oedipal complex.

I just remembered the girl from The Brunettes. I don't like them especially but I saw them live and DAMN. She was something. The one playing random percussion.
I think people should lay off joji. As a visitor from another solar system he obviously has different criteria for evaluating female pulchritude. We should respect our interplanetary guests.

Yeah, you put it better pE. Each post of his I read makes me wonder if he's a troll or if he's just some miserable kid constantly criticizing others in an attempt feel better about himself.

The "hide post" button is a godsend. Try it! It helps to idiot-proof the Forums.

Has anyone mentioned Victoria Bergsman yet? I'm still not quite sure what to think of short hair on girls, but I liked the look of her when she sang with PB&J on Conan.
And on a completely unrelated side note, why haven't I seen any sandwich jokes about them? Too obvious? Too highly regarded by the fork to joke about?

Maybe I am an idiot, no need for pee pee in your pants. If this forum is so important to you that it has to be taken super seriously all the time, and you are honestly bothered by some kid you've never met making harmless comments, why not make real-life friends with whom you do not have a problem? Do you think I'm not aware of what I'm doing here?
if so, kiss my miserable, insecure, pseudointellectual tushie.

I love how often p4k is brought up by it's supporters and others. Anyways, I just don't think a PB&J joke would be very funny. Too obvious.
I think the "Indie Beauty" thread is the only thread people are talking about for two weeks. The metacritic forum is on a cold strike...Could we talk about indie m-u-s-i-c please? You should all stop talking about indie chicks, 'cause you all prefer celebrities like Jennifer Love Hewitt after all!

I don't get it, joji. You seem to admit that you're just trying to get people's goats and rile them up, then you chastize them for GETTING riled up, and then you respond by getting riled up yourself.
Taking shots at people for not having 'real-life friends' certainly opens you up for the same sort of criticism. If you get your kicks by taking shots at other people (or the things that other people like), for fun, under the pseudo-anonymity of the Internet, I think that says as much about you as those people who actually get mad at you.

I think it's a forlorn hope, egg. These blokes haven't even changed hands yet

Sorry, that's not what I was trying to get across. I'm not riled up, I think it's funny. The person I am in real life is not the person I am here. I don't care how people react, I don't care if I get criticized, I don't think twice about anything I say, in case that isn't already clear. I am sure you are all nice people.

I think people are generally becoming more sensitive, which stems from a selfish individualist stance they just don't like being wrong or misunderstood which is fair enough. I think the defensive part of it comes from a lack of emotional control. Some people are not openminded and can not admit to being wrong, and in these cases they prove just how emotionally weak they really are. There's nothing I admire more in a person than when they can admit to being wrong about something or compromising on an arguement. It shows depth.
This is a huge problem amongst kids these days. They don't connect with their parents/family enough to learn basic human emotions but instead sit in front of the TV/computers. What will happen to the kids of the kids of today?
Would you like lies with that?
