I'm looking for more accoustic based or mostly accoustic indie/alternative albums. So far I've come up with Nuetral milk, Bright eyes, and a couple others. But I wanted to get some input from the metamembers. Thanks.
Ryan Adams - Heartbreaker Cat Power - You Are Free Bright Eyes - I'm Wide Awake, It's Morning Richard Buckner - The Hill Mark Kozelek - What's Next To The Moon Crooked Fingers - Red Devil Dawn

You could also go with Pajo - Pajo (self-titled album) or his other name Papa M. He's a former guitarist for this band Slint, who were pretty instense. But his solo work is softer and good.
Violent Femmes first album. Emiliana Torrini's "Fisherman's Woman". Anything by Darren Hanlon. Nick Drake's "Pink Moon" and Bruce Springsteen's "Nebraska" may not be indie, but are certainly essential.
