Regarding the album title, for the few who still go out and buy the lp or cd at a music store, if you call to ask if they have it do you go through with all 5 "ga"'s, do you cut it at two, or would it be wise just to ask for the new Spoon album? I must say, if I worked at a record store I wouldn't let anyone get away with the latter. "I'm sorry, but I'm not sure which one is the new one... do you know the title?"

I feel the same way, except I'd switch A Series of Sneaks with Girls Can Tell.

My second favorite album of the 90s, and still my favorite Spoon record-- followed closely by Girls Can Tell

Strangely enough, Maximum Jack's favorite album of the 90s is Vanilla Ice's Mind Blowin'.

Agreed. Series of Sneaks is just as good as the others. Telephono however... not as good.

Favorite cuts: You Got Yr. Cherry Bomb and My Little Jap Cig Case
"The Ghost.." is a bit slow and not on pace w/ the rest of the album but I find it completely intriguing.

Yeah, I like Soft Effects a lot better than Telephono.

Where's the love for Girls Can Tell? That's my favorite by a landslide. The new one is shaping up to be pretty sweet, and I actually think "Ghost of you lingers" is one of the better tracks. The only one I usually skip over is "Eddie's Ragga"...a little boring.

I think the best songs off Ga are the two power-poppy ones: "You Got Yr Cherry Bomb" and "The Underdog."

The bottom line is that Ga Ga Ga Ga Ga might be the best album of the year and it is a fine, fine album from top to bottom. All the songs are really amazing. And RL, how did you hear this album already?

Girls Can Tell is probably my favorite Spoon album. It's a short, hard, awesome rock album that doesn't pull any punches. Gimme Fiction is great, too.
------ Aren't there any girls out their who like good music? I need to and want to meet them. My favorite bands are Overkill River, The Nife, Songs:Ohio, and Nuetral Milk Hotel. Please let me know if your into indy music and like to go to show's and drink beer's and makeout.

"The Ghost of You Lingers" should have been the last song...

I am absolutely loving this album. Hands on Yr Cherry bomb, Eddie's Ragga, Don't Make me a Target, hell every song on the album is "killa"
Seriously though, can any song even touch "Don't You Evah"? What a cool song. And when I say 'cool', I mean I am picturing Brit smoking a cigarette, wearing sunglasses, not giving a f*** all about anyone, and just jammin. What a great album.
