Being born in Edmonton, Alberta means that you have a limited local music scene. However, that didn’t stop The Smalls from rockin’ hard. Though they dissolved after 11 years of service to the music community, they left some great memories behind.

I’d summarize them as a rock/blues band with a little more edge than the somewhat soft, yet assertive, vocals might lead you to believe.

One of my favorite albums is My Dear Little Angle.

You can listen to its entirety with this link… http://www.newmusiccanada.com/genres/artist.cfm?band_id=5320

I recommend getting acquainted with the album through…
  • My Dear Little Angle
  • Domination
  • Chords Like This
  • Alvarez
Enjoy, as I usually say. ;-)

PS - make sure to choose the 128K option after the pop-up window appears.

Ahh, The Smalls! They were like a rite of passage for rock-concertgoers in Western Canada when I was younger. Fond memories!
