Where does one find the edited version of Bros?

I accidentally downloaded this from emusic. (I hit download all instead of listen to all - an easy mistake to make.) After one listen, it seems to me that "Person Pitch" is this years "Ys". It is the most unusual and complicated work I have heard this year. It will certainly take several listens to get an appreciation for it. Those who get it swear by it. Those who don't get it think that there is something seriously wrong with those that get it. I don't know where I stand yet. It is beautiful and haunting. It is also repetitive. We'll see which side of the fence I come out on after a few listens.

That is the one song that never just washes over me. Bros is also awesome but I prefer the edited version of it. I can't commit to a 12 minute song.
I have that feeling about a lot of this album. The songs are great, but a few of the songs run on a little without much variation.

This reminds me of something that needs to be addressed more when discussing music: CONDITIONS. Some music isn't designed to engage the listener in an edge-of-your seat manner throughout. Some music is supposed to nestle into the surroundings and create a variety of atmospheres. Person Pitch CAN be both I think, but to judge it strictly as a second-to-second, rather than a moment-to-moment experience would, I think, be selling it short.

Interesting point goathouse and I agree. Being a pretty avid ambient listener I often am listening to music just on the edge of perceptibility (Watermusic by Basinski comes to mind). I think the repetitious, soupy sonic mixture that is Person Pitch definitely appeals to that part of my music-addled brain. However, I think this record is also brimming with little precious moments. For example I am always struck by the distant crashes that follow the bassline into focus before the final portion of Carrots. I am still transfixed by this record and find new gems "in between my moments" to borrow a useful phrase. There's definitely something good happening here

It's growing on me now. I first listened to it riding my bike up to the local sandwich shop and it was good, but then I put it away for 2 months and recently have come back and gave it a thorough listen and now it's really stuck on me.

I really have tried with this album. "Comfy in Nautica" is a great song, but the rest just hasn't grown on me at all. Bah.
------ Aren't there any girls out their who like good music? I need to and want to meet them. My favorite bands are Overkill River, The Nife, Songs:Ohio, and Nuetral Milk Hotel. Please let me know if your into indy music and like to go to show's and drink beer's and makeout.
