Usually, I would consider something like this spam, but somehow it seems alright since the guy's from Peru. And he's honest. I might even watch the videos.

The Moon Over Soho video was nice. Got any videos or mp3's of female artists from Peru?

It's not indie but I've picked up a couple collections of soul & funk music from Peru- Back To Peru: The Most Complete Compilation Of Peruvian Underground 1964-1974 and Afro Peruvian Classics: The Soul Of Black Peru. Excellent stuff.

I'm happy you liked the Moon Over Soho video! What about the other two? What did you think of them?

From the first batch of videos, only The Moon Over Soho grabbed my attention. The song was nice though short.

Tonka & Caroline Cruz are clealy what I like best here. I wouldn't mind hunting down some albums from them. Space Bee was good as well though I crave female vocalists.

I have some Laghonia on a couple collections, including the Back to Peru set. I have a Traffic Sound cd, Lux, which is really amazing psych music. The music on Back to Peru is hard rock, Latin funk, psych- a good variety of sounds. Afro Peruvian Classics is mostly funk and soul, with artists such as Abelardo Vasquez and Susana Baca.

Yeah, I agree with crazed... Moon Over Soho is pretty sweet. I just wish I could understand the lyrics.
