Is this a coincidence:

The Field
Field Music
The Crayon Fields

All out with albums in the first few months of 2007. Strange. It's reminiscent of the recent "wild animal" trend in band names.

It's another funny coincidence like the "wolf" names or prevalence of "black." Best new music of 2007? My vote is on Phoenix Arizona's native noisemakers "Sunset Field of Black Angel Death Club Wolves 86"

heh heh heh. I think "field" is just a very nice word. It has multiple meanings and is just generally poetic and good yay.

most redundant words that I'm tired to see too much:

- Fire
- horse
- wolf/wolves
- riot

I suggest: the riot with wolves and horses in fire. so catchy!!

Stars of Track and Field (the band, not the song)

I'd also like to add "stars" to eggTweedyegg's list of redundant words.

You left off "The Fields". They have a debut out in May.

Seriously. Check it out. And this may end up being the biggest release including what you listed. NME is pumping them up.
