Extraordinarily odd, melancholic and bursting with ideas, my faves are Dusk and Black Foliage...go those green typewriters!!
Oh, could I feel as I have felt, or be what I have been, Or weep as I could once have wept, o'er many a vanished scene; As springs in deserts found seem sweet, all brackish though they be, So, midst the withered waste of life, those tears would flow to me.

Agreed, Dusk at Cubist Castle and Black Foliage are two of the greatest albums of all time.

I love both of those albums. For a while, I never actually sat through all of the "Green Typewriters" tracks, but I've come to really enjoy them over the years.

I LOVE the Olivia Tremor Control and most of the Elephant 6 bands, but I must say I do tend to skip the weird tracks. I mean Bill Doss and William Cullen Hart can both craft amazing pop gems, but sometimes they try to out-psychedelic each other. "California Demise" is probably my favorite track.

What if Obama gets into White House and turns out to be some crazy muslim terrorist? What do we do then? We'll be pretty screwed. It could happen." -- by some fucking nutjob
