I grabbed it a few nights ago but haven't gave it a listen yet... which Andrew Bird sound is it?

Just got my hands on this. It sounds excellent, like most of Bird's stuff. The remixes are fine, but the new stuff is especially good. Maybe we can expect a new album in '08. It's already shaping up to be a great year.

got this last week.
the first song, "The Trees Were Mistaken," is incredible! That guy never misses!

I especially enjoy the early version of "Heretics". It's also the best song off of Armchairs. It deserves a good back-porch plucking.

its really cool, the EP is like the set he played when he opened for wilco.

Speaking of Andrew Bird he recently started a New York Times blog about song writing.
