i have been listening to a band called snowden for about a year now. and they are big with my group of friends, but just recently i noticed that they really arn't that big.

one of the people in the band is a close friend to one of my friends and i guess thats why all of my friends would know who they were when i asked.

anyways if you havent heard of them check into them.

they just got a huge break and are opening for kings of leon accross country.

let me know what you all think too.

Seems quite good. The melodies are a bit monotonous but I love the guitar stuff.

Haha, one of my classmates is very close to a few of the guys from Snowden. I think they all grew up together (around Athens, GA, I believe) and still stay in touch.

He showed me some of their music videos the other day. Not too bad. He also said they toured with Deerhunter just recently. Pretty cool.

almost a third of their shows are sold out on this coming up tour with kings of leon. including new york, chicago, and dallas.

im excited for them. it could't happen to any nicer guys.

i hope the kings of leon fans embrace them.

they are also playing with a band called the features. i dont know if i have heard any of their stuff.
