This is a good one! Warning: this may take longer than other methods of displaying your affection.

I want to make a mix CD for a girl who I like... we haven't "hooked up" yet, but I'm planning on asking her out next week.
We found out that we both have similar musical tastes (both into indie/alternative bands) and so, I'd like to make her a great mix CD. However, the thing is, I'd like to make it a bit romantic. And by "a bit," I mean I want it to literally drip with sweetness and "feelings."

So, are there any songs you want to suggest for this CD? I'm planning on including about 10 songs, so as to not make it too long.
Three songs that I do intend to put on it are:
1. Lover's spit - Broken Social Scene
2. Do you realize? - The Flaming Lips
3. Rush - Lasse Lindh

Thanks for your input! Big Grin

If you want to convince this girl to let you fuck her, you're coming to the wrong place for advice. Big Grin

Actually, this is one of the most romantically successful message boards I've seen on the internet. At LEAST half of the regular posters either are married or have a girlfriend. Losers like myself are outliers. Wink

"Love and Some Verses" by Iron & Wine is one of the most romantic songs I've heard in the last year.

Let me assure you, the way I treat random girls on the internet is entirely different than how I treat ladies in person.

Still, it's fun to get a rise out of people. Wink

Peter and the Wolf - "The Apple Tree"
Samamidon - "Wedding Dress"
Silver Jews - "Tennessee" (kinda silly but awesome)
Tyler Ramsey - "Worried"
The Avett Brothers - "If It's The Beaches"

If you like these I have tons of others...

I never hated any of you/I loved you all at the time
