iLiKETRAiNS are an English post-rock band from Leeds.They are gonna release their debut album next month in UK through Beggars Banquet .They v already released an EP in 2006 (Progress Reform n dsome singles.
their sound is like a cross between exlosions in the sky , mogwaii , sigur ros , goodspeed you black emperor , interpol , the national etc ,to name a few if you wanna get the picture.

with dark , explosive , ghostly melodies & lyrics , with an impressive production , with songs such as "The Deception" , the epic "Spencer Perceval" , "Terra Nova", i believe that they ll blow some minds n hearts n give to post rock lovers -at least- a great new pleasure.
i bet that many people here are gonna like/love them...

I'm surprised someone else knows of them on Metacritic. Even though, I'm not a very big fan I do think they have great potential.

They sound interesting, I'll give the album a listen tonight.

I have progress reform, and it bored me after repeated listens. To be honest their sound isn't new or refreshing. They've just rehashed sounds from other post-rock bands.

i know what i mean , but from the other hand can you name a band with a new or refreshing sound?
n you are right when you say that they "They've just rehashed sounds from other post-rock bands" but every band does something like this n its not necessary a bad thing to put your influences in your music when you create great music like that band.

in the "post rock"-era , almost all the bands have quite the same influences.n most of them sound the same. its the quality of the music that makes the difference n in the case of "iLIKETRAINS" i believe that finally i v found a new band to stand with decency next to some of my fav post rock bands.

I bought the new album monday and cant stop listening to it. It's fantastic.
Much of the same as their first release but thats really what i was hoping for.
